My Project
Project: Order Application and Website
Duration: 15 Weeks
My Role: UX Research / UI Designer / Web Developer
Tools: Adobe illustrator, Adobe XD, Figma, Visual Code
Skills: HTML5, CSS5, 2D Design, Application Design
Goals
Due to the increasing demand and workload of restaurant employees, restaurants can reduce the workforce and workload through this application. Customers can order and check out on their own, and the bills go straight to the kitchen, while the chefs can prepare the colours and the customer's food.

Challenges
This is a highly challenging task. Because many restaurants already have their ordering programs but allow customers to choose to become an employee simultaneously. In this task, I mainly pay special attention to the appearance design and simplify all the systems; the purpose is that zero users can find their goals directly and efficiently and help me achieve the speed of their ordering.
What I learn
From a design project's progress, I can learn about the process and methods used to create a design and the progress and milestones achieved. This can include information about research, concept development, prototyping, testing, and refining the design. Additionally, you can learn about the challenges and obstacles that have been encountered, as well as the solutions that have been implemented to overcome them. Reviewing a design project's progress can provide valuable insights into the design process and help inform future design decisions.
Problems
-
People usually like to use a hard menu to order food because they believe actual staff could confirm their set and order.

-
But for a running restaurant to manage teams on duty every day. Also, too many staffs would make more mistakes during work

-
Even the chefs could get messages from customers directly.
Solutions
-
The plan is to ease the operational burden on restaurants. Please enable them to process customer orders more efficiently.

-
Since there are many human errors in restaurants nowadays, I hope to solve the restaurant order problem through this application. And guests can order their food.

-

Personas
With the data collected from the survey, I created a persona representing an ideal application user. The persona helped me arrive at a better solution as it gave an in-depth understanding of the user's goals, frustration, and overall personality.
